Umm......I wasn't the victim ! :) I read a book, was in bed the whole day, called mom n dad....basically had a perfect holiday on 8th March.
It was my other two roomies who decided to take their new friend from Morocco for some shopping.
... about this girl-she's always in hijab (she's my neighbour n I haven't seen her hair yet!!...its not that I want to.... :P)
well-dressed, silent ..more of a person who keeps to herself.
Even I was asked to come along that day but something in me decided not to !! ;)
She made both my roomies discover every inch of that mall... moreover, came back home picking nothing!!
She has a strange "criteria" for picking up a simple shirt or something...here it goes:-
1) It should be sufficiently long......(why not wear a frock instead!)
2) it should be loose.....(wow, say me that again n I would have wrapped her up in a bedsheet!)
3) it should have full sleeves....(I think removing ur body hair is a better option..rather than hiding them..duh)
4)....n it should be BLACK (nothing against it as my personal fav. colour is black too,but for God's sake, why should all ur tops be black?? It doesn't make u look any fair..)
Its easy to find clothes with 3rd and 4th criteria...but......thank god I wasn't with them!!!!!
I know now that Girls are pretty hard to go shopping with. They can go shopping for hours on end and never pickup a thing (I don't even remember if I ever did that) They can also pickup everything in one day that could tie them over for a whole year. Because of the wide variety of shops and niche outlets they have at their disposal, I'm sure one could go insane just following her around while she browses (thats exactly where my roomies were stuck) Maybe this girl had some new mantra-- Indulge your fantasies—just don’t open your wallet.
I remember once I had gone out with my brother and after sometime he said..."Rashmi, I'll go n sit there by the time u decide which dresses u are going to 'try'...:) " I was a bit annoyed since we were supposed to shop together n I wanted his opinion...But now I know WHY he must have said that..............So Lesson learnt!
